See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

Feels weird to do, but let’s make a pinned post

Hi. I’m Ducky, or Nic. She/her. I’m into all sorts and regularly forget to tag anything, so please excuse my blog

Fire Emblem Three Houses/Hopes fan, who loves the Rainbow Rangers the best (please send Claude things my way?). Side blog I’m slowly moving things to is @three-duck-houses

I’m making a crochet wyvern, but Tumblr search hates it in the ap so here it is. Finished body - Wing span

Also made an Alligator Loki, which I regularly despaired over.

I wrote Miraculous and My Time at Portia fanfic at one point, it’s on AO3 at Alien_Duck, and also here on tumblr at @dragoninthecloud and @alienduckpond

My art tag is Duckpond Doodles, and my crochet tag is Duckpond Crochet

I’ve discovered the queue function. I’m using it so I don’t spam my followers feeds all at once anymore. So if you see me like something but not reblog it, it’ll catch up in a day or two

I had a thought while I was washing dishes (not yet finished) and now I'm making a poll about it bc this is the mental unhealth site, so I feel like this audience won't make me feel too bad

As of Right Now, how long would you need to clean up your place enough that you would allow someone to come inside and look around?

None. I have no mess to clean

None. I have no shame

A few minutes

15-30 minutes

30-60 minutes

At least an hour

Several Hours

A Full Day

Several Days

No cop out option on this one. And it's not about WHY you need that long. Serious mess or can't move fast or hot weather or leg broken or adhd or depression fugue. Reason doesn't matter. Only thing the poll wants is how long it would take.

ive given up caring its not so much my place is a mess its just got too much stuff in it only thing id bother to move would be brats socks i think hes trying to make a rug out of them

the thing I hate about how some people ask diagnostic questions for autism is the phrasing. for example, someone once asked "do you often like to wear ear/headphones or ear plugs?" and no, I don't. I hate wearing them because i get super paranoid and start having very bad intrusive thoughts. on that superficial level, I would say no, I do not like to wear those. but that's not what the question actually means. the root of the question is really just "do loud or repeated noises irritate you?" but for some reason, people like to say it in the most sly underhanded way possible. asking those serious intentioned questions in such a obscure way completely ignores people with multiple disorders. it assumes everyone is completely the function standard human who is only experiencing one issue at a time, rather than a complex divergent person

Yeah and a lot of stuff like that. Like not leaving room for behaviors that may have been learned. Like listening to other people. Or like not stimming publicly or like unable to read subtext. Like bruh, reading comprehension has to be taught to everyone, I paid attention in class, and I read subtext into everything.

I just feel like not everyone has all of the well known or same symptoms and there's reason for that. It's broad af.

insane how many people just have these incredible artists in their families who get no recognition outside of crocheting circles because this art form is devalued for its association with women

in my country, the word for crocheting, is used metaphorically, to compliment a surgeon’s work.

every AFAB person my mother’s age and older, had practiced this craft at one point on another.

My mom has made literal paintings, that decorate our house for years (I’ll come back with pictures when I visit next) you can only see that they are crocheting when you go very close.

as promised here’s my mom’s crocheting “paintings”

There is another one but it had been stored many years ago, (i remember it from my childhood) and sadly it is probably damaged by mold, it depicted wild horsed running in nature
